ABOUT

A farm kid work ethic and a love of teamwork

Hard work has been the foundation for my career. Growing up on a family farm, we worked hard. Really hard. Long days and nights were the norm. Working in advertising and marketing can be like that. There’s long hours and a lot of things you don’t want to do, but you do it anyway to pay the bills. I’d say that if I love 10% of the work I do, that’s a huge success. The honesty of sharing that in an interview actually got me a job once, at least that’s what they told me. I’m also my biggest critic. I tell younger designers all the time that you shouldn’t be 100% happy with the work when you’re done. You should always be looking for what you did wrong and how to improve it. Never settle. Isn’t that what they say?

So yeah, I’m a hard worker, and I’ve won some creative awards. But the thing that sets me apart? I like people. I am good at relationships. I’m easy to work with, and clients trust me to exceed expectations. Through hard work, positive energy, and solid creative leadership, I turn their creative problems into creative solutions. All while having fun and building up the people around me.
